CTC Stays ("we", "us") operates the StayLink guest companion and service-alert system used at our vacation rental properties (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Guest stay information: stay dates, the property you are staying at, and information you submit through the Service, such as maintenance reports ("Something Needs Sorting") and local tips.
• Contact information: names and phone numbers of guests, property owners, and service partners (such as cleaners and maintenance providers) needed to coordinate a stay or a service visit.
• Message metadata: delivery status of notifications we send (for example, whether a WhatsApp or SMS alert was delivered). We do not record the content of your personal WhatsApp conversations.

How we use information

• To send service-related notifications — for example, alerting a service partner about an issue a guest reported, or updating a guest about their stay.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To respond to requests and provide support.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use guest or partner contact information for third-party advertising.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate the Service: with the service partners involved in your stay (for example, the cleaner or technician assigned to a reported issue), and with technology providers that deliver messages on our behalf (such as WhatsApp/Meta and our SMS provider), subject to their own privacy terms.

Data retention

Stay and report records are retained only as long as needed for property operations and legal compliance, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Service partners and guests may request deletion of their contact information at any time.

Your choices

You may opt out of WhatsApp or SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us. Opting out of service alerts does not affect direct communication with the property team by phone or email.
